Firefox, Free With The Google Pack Download

The Google Pack is a collection of many software applications. The graphical web browser, Mozilla Firefox is one of the software applications that are free to download from Google. Mozilla Firefox is an Internet web browser that is developed by the Mozilla Corporation. The version that comes with the Google Pack has the Google toolbar built right in. So you get all the great features of Google and Firefox rolled into one!
It was not only the Mozilla Corporation that was involved in the development of this web browser but there were a number of other external distributors that were involved in the development. The Web browser is nothing but a software application. This software application enables the user to display and also interact with the text, images, and also some information that is available on the web pages. These web pages can be from the local network or from the World Wide Web. The Firefox is officially abbreviated as Fx or fx. It is popularly abbreviated as FF. The main aim of the Mozilla browser was to surf the web pages. They aimed for providing the maximum possible browsing information.
The birth of this web browser is marked by Dave Hyatt and Blake Ross. They were working on the Mozilla project. At that time as a experimental branch they started working with Firefox. It was then that they realized that the commercial requirements of Netscape compromised the utility of Mozilla Firefox. The Mozilla Firefox had undergone several name changes. It was initially called as Phoenix. Later it was renamed because of the trademark issues with the Phoenix technologies. After that it was named as the Firebird. Finally the Mozilla Firebird became the Mozilla Firefox.
This web browser has distinct features than the other Web browsers that are available in the market. The added features include the tabbed browsing, incremental find, Live book marking, and an integrated download manager. The tab browsing feature is the one which can allow more than one document to be opened at a single time. There are tabs that can help the user to navigate among the different pages. This is most commonly associated with the web browsers. It is also called as the tabbed document interface. This tabbed document interface (TDI) allows the multiple documents to be opened in a single window.
The other feature of Mozilla Firefox is of the incremental find. There are a number of times when you need to find some document or text. That you can do by searching for a particular text string. In case of the Mozilla Firefox there are some shortcut keys that can directly do a particular function. For example in case if the user has to search for a particular thing he has to only type “/” key. These short cut keys can save a lot of time of the user. Like search there are some other short cuts too.
The other feature is of the Live bookmarking. In this case web feeds are displayed as the bookmarks. The bookmark acts like a folder that contains the link in a feed. The download manager is a software program. The work done by the download manager is to download the pages from the internet.
