What is Mozilla Firefox?

Mozilla Firefox is a web browser. The web browser is nothing more than a software application that helps the user to display web pages. It also interacts with the text, images, and also some information that is available on the web pages. This is available with the Google Pack product and is free of cost. It was developed by the Mozilla Corporation. But in the development of Mozilla Firefox it was not only the Mozilla Corporation that was involved in the development stage of the Mozilla Web browser but also there were some external distributors that were involved in this project. The Web browser is nothing but a software application. This software application enables the user to display and also interact with the text, images, and also some information that is available on the web pages. These web pages can be from the local network or from the World Wide Web. Fx or fx is the official abbreviation of Firefox. FF is the popular abbreviation of Mozilla Firefox. The main aim of the Mozilla browser was to surf the web pages. They aimed for providing the maximum possible browsing information.
The birth of this web browser is marked by Dave Hyatt and Blake Ross. They were working on the Mozilla project. At that time as a experimental branch they started working with Firefox. It was then that they realized that the commercial requirements of Netscape compromised the utility of Mozilla Firefox. The Mozilla Firefox had undergone several name changes. It was initially called as Phoenix. Later it was renamed because of the trademark issues with the Phoenix technologies. After that it was named as the Firebird. Finally the Mozilla Firebird became the Mozilla Firefox.
there are a number of added features included in this web browser. These mainly include the tabbed browsing, incremental find, Live book marking, and an integrated download manager. This web browser has some added features that are not available with the other web browsers. The feature of the tabbed browser allows the user to open more than one web page at a time. When the user has to open the web page of his interest than in that case he has to just click on the required tab and go to that particular page. Thus tabs help in to navigate among the pages.
The other feature of Mozilla Firefox includes the incremental find feature. Every now and then the user needs to find out some files and folders, documents or texts. That you can do by searching for a particular text string. To find these the above mentioned particulars there are short cut keys that are available with the user. These short cut keys can directly take the user to the particular locations as defined by the browser. For example in case if the user has to search for a particular thing he has to only type “/” key. These short cut keys can save a lot of time of the user. It is not only for the search option that the short cut keys are used but there are some other functions too which can need short cuts.
The other features include the Live book marking one. The bookmark acts like a folder that contains the link in a feed. The other feature is of the download manager. It is nothing but a software program. The download managers are used to download the pages from internet.
